Sudan — Alkhair Foundation has intensified its humanitarian efforts in Sudan by deploying a field team to Northern State, specifically to Al-Dabba Camp, to evaluate the urgent needs of displaced families living in extremely vulnerable conditions.

Upon arrival, the team met with local authorities, including the Executive Director of the locality, and obtained the necessary permits to move inside the camp. They also held a detailed briefing with the Emergency and Crisis Coordinator, who provided an overview of the rising number of displaced families and the challenging humanitarian situation they face.

During the visit, Alkhair Foundation’s team conducted a comprehensive assessment of the most pressing needs in the camp. These urgent requirements include access to clean drinking water, household utensils, heaters, mosquito nets, women’s hygiene kits, beds for pregnant women and children, sanitation facilities, lighting equipment, environmental and hygiene support, temporary kitchens, a medical waste incinerator, prosthetic devices, essential medications, and a temporary prayer area.

Alkhair Foundation reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to supporting displaced and crisis-affected communities across Sudan. The Foundation emphasized that it will continue coordinating with local and international partners to deliver life-saving assistance and implement effective interventions that improve living conditions and preserve the dignity of affected families.
